Schneider 68-509444 Overview
The 4mm Schneider 4 x 4" Indigo True-Streak Filter is designed to simulate an anamorphic streak effect regardless of the lens, anamorphic or not. Upon light sources, such as the sun, a light bulb, or a candle, long colored streaks emanate to draw attention to a specific part of the frame or create a visually dramatic effect. Depending on the strength and lighting selected, you can easily achieve in camera a variety of results, from subtle to dramatic streak effects.
The line types within this filter's glass are placed 1mm apart from each other. True-Streak filters with spaces of 4, 3, or 2mm between their lines are also available where this filter type's effect becomes progressively stronger as the spacing between those lines is decreased. There are four strengths, with 1mm being the strongest effect and 4mm the most subtle.
