Savage CB116 Overview
Add a level of control and professionalism to your photographic endeavors with a 6 x 7', Chroma Green/Blue Collapsible/Reversible Background from Savage. When confronted with a busy or unsightly photo location, it's great to have the option of shooting with your own background. The collapsible background has a steel spring sewn into the perimeter that holds the fabric tight when open, and collapses to 1/3 the full size when folded. For versatility, the background is reversible, and offers the photographer two backdrop choices. Easy to setup, the background has touch-fasteners for hanging vertically or horizontally, and is easily clipped to an optional stand as well. When not in use, the background may be stored in the included carry bag.

Easy to set up and works great
Does not require a degree in mechanical engineering to set up. Nice smooth background. Especially love the dark gray side.
Works well for the price
The kit stand will work in doors, the non kit stand under accessories is only 6' tall so it will not work and under accessories they don't show the clip that is needed to attache to a light stand.
What You Should Know About It
The product is just fine and service is near perfect. But there are a few things that you can't tell from reading the description, product literature, specs and so forth. These are the things that surprised me, not disappointed me, just sort of surprised me. Keep in mind, the one I ordered is 6 feet by 7 feet. That's big. 1. Its surprisingly heavy. The frame is made of spring steel and at 6 feet by 7 feet that adds up to a lot of metal. 2. Folded up in its bag its fairly large, 33 around by my tape measure. 3. It comes with a nylon protective case. That's OK but all its good for is to keep the backdrop clean and stowed away. Its not heavy enough and lacks a shoulder strap or even a very convincing handle to qualify as a real carrying case _ which is what I expected. Another, more expensive brand does come with a sturdy thick blue nylon caring case. 4. When you set it up, the fabric has wrinkles in it that show in the photos. I take that as a function of its size, not sure if a higher quality item from another maker would avoid this problem or not. I did use a competing brand size 5 feet by 6 feet and did not notice wrinkles. The work-around for the wrinkle issue is to put the subject further away from the BG and/or t use a shallow DOF. 5. I think I would prefer a 5' X 7' size with heavier fabric. 6. Mine is black on one side and white on the other. The black is really black and he white is really white, OK on that. Not all brands are true white. 7. I hold mine up wth A clamps against a pair of budget-model light stands. That works fine. You could just lean it against a wall but then the angle will kind of work against you and it does not stay still. 8. Its useful for on location shoots but too big and heavy for run and gun. If you get one and use it, I think you will enjoy it.

Lightweight background
This is great product - I am considering about getting this for personal use! Very lightweight and easy to store when it's not in used!
Won't lay flat
Maybe it's just too big, but it won't flatten out and twists when hung. I went to back to the 5x6 and it hangs perfectly, no twisiting, and that was important enough for me to return this larger one.
Exactly as advertised!!
The backdrop is exactly the right colours, but the stand could be sturdier. Nothing has broken so far, though. Useful.
It's HUGE!!
Great service & delivery from ! ?YES, its HUGE - so make sure you have plenty of room around you before you open this up! ?Whilst you can lean this against a wall, it will be best attached to a stand to give it more stability as the frame can sag a little. ? Fabric is really nice and the white is white and the black is very black! ?Very happy with this purchase for the price!
