Savage CB-600 Overview
A staple on any film set or production, the 9.6', black 40" Riser C-Stand from Savage is a multiuse support you'll find on any grip truck.
The stand supports gear weighing up to 25 lb, rises to a maximum height of 9.6', has a minimum working height of 53", and a stable footprint of 25". Although the "C" represents Century stand, the legs do form a C-shape when closed that makes it easy to stack. This particular stand has a removable "turtle base" that allows you to employ the riser with its spring-loaded top section for other uses. The legs have yet more features. One leg is height adjustable by loosening a locking knob and sliding it up and down the main riser section, enabling you to level the stand on an incline, stairs, or uneven terrain. A unique feature is the 1 1/8" receiver that accepts short Junior risers or adapters for low-angle shooting or 2-light setups.
