Saramonic SR-SC2500 Overview
The Saramonic SR-SC2500 is a gold-plated microphone extension cable that offers 8' of additional length between your mic's 3.5mm TRRS connector and the 3.5mm TRRS headphone jack of a smartphone or tablet.
The SR-SC2500 works with smartphone and tablet devices and can be used with smartphone-ready microphones from Saramonic, as well as other manufacturers.
The cable is equipped with a female 3.5mm TRRS jack on one end and a male 3.5mm TRRS plug on the other. It is well suited for applications that require positioning the subject further away from your smartphone or mounting the microphone on a boom or stand.
Additional Uses
Thanks to Saramonic's smart design, both 3.5mm TRRS connectors can also function as 3.5mm TRS connectors for the following uses:
TRS-to-TRRS Adapter:
- The SR-SC2500 can be used as an adapter cable to plug a mic with a regular 3.5mm TRS connector into the 3.5mm TRRS headphone jack of a smartphone.
TRS-to-TRS Extension Cable:
- The cable can be used as an extension cable for plugging a mic with a regular 3.5mm TRS connector into the 3.5mm TRS audio input of a DSLR/mirrorless camera.
- You can also use the cable as a stereo headphone extension cable with compatible headphone jacks on media players, laptops, and more.
