The Samson AH8 is a lightweight wireless headset designed to replace the worn or broken AH8 headset transmitter in an AirLine 88 system. It transmits on Group K frequencies from 470 to 494 MHz, making it compatible with Group K Samson CR88 wireless receivers. The waterproof condenser capsule resides in a protective marine-grade housing, and is attached to an adjustable boom. It features a unidirectional polar pattern for enhanced rejection of off-axis sound.
Sturdy earhooks enable secure positioning of the headset, which offers convenient power, mute, and volume controls. The internal lithium-ion battery delivers up to six hours of operating time, and recharges via connection to a USB port. The AH8 includes a windscreen, charging cable, and power adapter.
