Sabrent DS-UCTB Overview
Expand your storage capacity with the USB Type-C 10-Bay 3.5" SATA III Hard Drive Tray-Less Docking Station from Sabrent. Whether you are a creative professional, producer, or gamer, this enclosure will allow you to install your own array of 3.5" hard-disk drives for easy access to your files and documents. Ten bays allow you to install the 3.5" SATA III drives of your choosing, and the tray-less design allows you to place your drives into the enclosure without needing any screws or mounts. You can manually turn your drives on and off with individual power buttons, while a main power button is on the back of the housing. This enclosure is also hot-swap compatible, allowing you to swap drives without turning off your system. Dual 120mm cooling fans work together with the aluminum design to maintain thermal performance, preventing damage to your drives caused by excessive heat build-up.
Note:
This multi-bay station does not have built-in RAID functionality. However, software RAID configurations are possible.
This Sabrent SATA Hard Drive Tray-Less Docking Station enables you to access 3.5" hard drives without the frustration of assembling enclosures. By inserting a 3.5" SATA hard drive directly into this docking station, you can quickly access drive contents and transfer files. Transfer data quickly and easily through USB 3.2 Gen 2 at speeds up to 10 Gb/s.
This drive bay supports 10 SATA III hard drives in its tray-less drive bays. The high quality aluminum is ideal for optimal heat dissipation and structural integrity, and all 10 bays are hot swappable with independent on/off switches. There is a locking key to prevent accidental bay door opening with a built-in Kensington security slot. Additionally, two 120mm fans add additional cooling capability.

I had a handful of various USB hard drive enclosures attached to my Plex server for storing media, backups, etc. I replaced all of those units with this and it cleaned up things very nicely. There are now fewer cords to manage, better transfer speeds and room for expansion. I love it! The best part is I didn't have to reformat any of the drives. I just powered things down, moved them over and powered everything back up. Everything showed up just as it was before. Perfect!
