Offload footage from SD Express cards at speeds up to 985 MB/s with the SD Express Card Reader from Sabrent. This card reader features one SD Express 7.1 card slot that supports SD Express media at speeds up to 985 MB/s, as well as UHS-II, UHS-I, and non-UHS media at their respective speeds. This reader connects to your host system using its 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C interface that is backward compatible with 5 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 1. It is also Thunderbolt compatible, although USB speed limits remain in place. Built using an aluminum that helps increase durability and reduce heat, this card reader employs plug-and-play connectivity and utilizes USB bus power, meaning that no additional cables or drivers are required.
SD7.x cards can reach up to 985 MB/s, full-duplex, for reads and writes over USB 3.2 Gen 2 via PCIe 3.1a. This adapter won't slow you down when transferring your high-definition photos and videos.
Fully compatible with the SD Express 7.1 specification and backward compatible with standard SD cards at up to 104 MB/s. It also works with OTG smartphones over USB Type-C. It's ready when you are.
Not only does the aluminum construction help with enhanced durability and reliability, it also helps with heat dissipation the reduce the risk of cards overheating when transferring large amounts of data.
The female USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port lets you connect this reader to your host system using the included Type-C to Type-C and Type-C to Type-A USB cables. It outputs to SD and PCI Express as supported by the host.
Operating System and Protocol Support
This reader works with Microsoft Windows, macOS, Linux, and smartphone OS with available OTG functionality. It supports PCIe and NVMe features, such as power and thermal management, when applicable.
