Buy only for reading, not for writing
If you are looking for blazing fast transfers of footage to your computer, then this is it. I use it to transfer my RED footage to my computer. BUT, the write speeds are horrible, horrific I may say. So if you ever find the need to move footage from your computer to a card using this reader, you will be there all day. It doesn't make sense, this being a thunderbolt Reader, but I guess the name says it. reader. The Angelbird/RED cfexpress reader is fast and reliable in both directions. Just not as fast on the reader side as the Sabrent. I have both, just in case. I do often wonder if the 300MB/S difference is worth carrying two readers.
Fast reader at a reasonable price
Reads huge raw files from a Nikon Z9 five times faster than Brand X. Additional drivers not required on MacBook Pro. Feels solidly built. Price is reasonable. Saves me so much time when I come home from a football game with thousands of large raw images.
Fastest card reader on the planet
I was shocked how fast this thing downloads. Yeah thunderbolt fast. Comes with two cables a protective silicone case, it's not as big as it looks it fits in my tech pouch. So fast at a time saver.

Excellent CFexpress Type-B Thunderbolt 3 Card Reader
I needed to purchase a CFexpress Type-B Thunderbolt 3 Card Reader for my new updated faster setup. After some research, I decided to purchase this Sabrent card reader even though it was more expensive that many of the other options. It works perfectly. Fast downloads. Very well built, not at all flimsy. Will be great for travel. Worth the extra money for the quality.
