Rycote SC-08 Overview
Compact and sporting ultralow self-noise, the SC-08 Condenser Microphone Matched Pair from Rycote are professional pencil microphones with a highly directional, supercardioid pickup pattern and an exceptionally flat frequency response. These versatile small-diaphragm mics sport a back electret condenser transducer in a lightweight, machined aluminum capsule, delivering accurate and detailed sound reproduction while remaining easy to transport and mount in any studio or field environment, even on cameras.
The SC-08 features sophisticated low-noise circuitry through it's corrosion-resistant, machined brass preamp, active, in-line RF filtering circuitry, and fine-tuned mechanical RF shielding. A gold-plated Neutrik XLR connector ensures further protection from noise and reliable, long-lasting performance in the most demanding usage scenarios. The mics come equipped with a hard case as well as a mic clip and foam windscreen for each mic, ensuring safe transport to and from your recording sessions.
