Rycote HC22 & HC15 SOUNDS TEASER MASTER
The Rycote HC-15 with Nano Shield Windshield Kit NS2-CA is a shotgun microphone with a 3.7" interference tube that leverages the company's audio expertise to provide a high-performing, all-purpose solution for location recording, TV/film production, and broadcast work. The electret condenser capsule features sophisticated RF shielding to reduce noise and interference, while its hypercardioid polar pattern reliably attenuates off-axis sound to provide crisp, precise speech and dialog that rivals substantially more expensive models.
The HC-15 can handle sound sources at volumes up to 133 dB SPL when operating on full 48V phantom power. The mic can also run on 24V, but with lowered SPL handling capabilities. The HC-15 features an extremely low self noise of 8.5 dB and a wide frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz. This configuration includes the Nano Shield Kit NS2-CA, which offers Rycote's most advanced wind protection system.

- Smaller and 30% lighter on average than standard kits
- Advanced Lyre mounts are more compliant and offer better handling noise reduction
- Special magnetic-locking basket design can be configured to fit various microphone sizes by simply swapping out basket halves
- Basket shell is made from semi-rigid material that combines strength with flexibility
- The Nano Shield comes supplied with a low-profile XLR cable that has both an active in-line RF filter and a switchable 80 Hz low-cut filter (requires phantom power)
