Russound IPK-1 Overview
Enjoy easy and convenient access to a single Russound audio zone with this IPK-1 Single-Gang IP Audio System Keypad from Russound. Compatible with IP-based Russound audio systems, this wall-mounted keypad is a tactile and reliable addition to mobile app-based control. The two-way feedback system of the keypad illuminates various buttons that control music playback, zone power, and up to four favorites. It installs seamlessly without requiring any programming, only needing a single PoE wired Ethernet (802.3af) connection to handle both power and data.
NOTE: A PoE power supply and a Decora wall plate are required and not included.
Russound Compatibility
This keypad is compatible with the following Russound IP-based audio systems: SMZ8, SMZ16-PRE, MCA-66, MCA-88, MBX-PRE, or MBX-AMP.
Audio Controls
The keypad provides the following button controls: favorites, skip back, skip forward, play/pause, volume up/down, and power. When using a favorite button, you can press and hold one to store the currently playing content. This lets you quickly access that source in the future. The power button can control the currently playing music, or you can hold it to turn off all compatible Russound devices.
Minimal Distraction
To minimize distractions, only the controlled feature will have its buttons illuminated with built-in LEDs. So, if you control the volume, only the volume buttons will light up. Additionally, the status LEDs will turn off automatically when the audio system is not in use.
