Russound BSK-2 Overview
Add the convenience of Bluetooth streaming to your existing audio system with this BSK-2 Bluetooth Source Kit from Russound. Even if your system supports Bluetooth, this kit can let you stream if your components are too far away. The kit consists of a BTC-2X remote transceiver and a BTC-2 audio hub. The hub connects to your equipment via RCA or optical audio output, which the transceiver connects to the audio hub from up to 500' away via optional Cat 5 or Cat 6 cabling. Your music streams to the transceiver, which sends it to the audio hub for playback. You can even use the RCA in/out connection as a passthrough, adding Bluetooth to a component without needing a free port. The kit also works with existing Russound SMZ and MCA controllers.
