Get your voice on the track with this Songwriting Kit from that bundles a RME Fireface UCX II USB-C Audio/MIDI Interface with a large-diaphragm condenser microphone, a tripod mic stand with fixed boom, a pair of studio monitoring headphones, an XLR mic cable, and a pop filter for absorbing plosives like p's and t's.
Compact, portable, and packed with features from their premier interfaces, the RME Fireface UCX II is a desktop 20x20 USB audio/MIDI interface that effectively serves as a mobile version of RME's respected UFX rackmount models, earning it the flexibility to benefit musicians, content creators, and serious engineers alike. Not only is it a capable interface with plenty of analog and digital I/O for your DAW-based productions, but it also supports powerful remote-control options and standalone operation to accommodate a myriad of workflows and recording scenarios. Additionally, it can record all I/O channels directly to USB flash storage thanks to the internal DURec digital recorder.
Since it has eight analog inputs?two high-gain mic/line preamps, two line / Hi-Z inputs, and four rear-panel line inputs, the Fireface UCX II can easily handle dynamic and condenser mics, electric instruments, and professional line-level devices. With six balanced TRS line outputs and a stereo headphone jack, it has no problem feeding monitors, headphones, and even CV/gate inputs on synth gear. Reference-class clocking and compliance with resolutions up to 24-bit / 192 kHz enable the interface to perform at its best, and a crisp color display shows metering for all inputs and outputs at the same time.
With up to 20 channels for recording and playback, SteadyClock FS, high-performance microphone inputs, parametric EQ, dynamics processing, echo, reverb, DURec (Direct USB Recording), MIDI I/O, a powerful headphone output, and full standalone operation, the Fireface UCX II excels with RME's highest feature-to-space ratio ever.
- The Fireface UCX II comes with the TotalMix FX DSP mixer offering comprehensive routing and monitoring options, as well as the DIGICheck Analyzer allowing to measure and analyze the digital data feed in both directions with maximum precision.
- The integration of Room EQ adds room calibration to the RME eco-system, making your Fireface perfect for Immersive audio setups including Dolby ATMOS. Room EQ consists of nine bands of fully parametric EQ, individual output delay, and volume calibration. Users can freely assign up to twenty 20 Room EQs at once to any output(s) they wish including stereo, headphone, and digital outputs for maximum flexibility. Settings can be input manually or imported using tools like Sonarworks or Room EQ Wizard.
- Also added is a feature called Binaural Crossed. This functionality provides speaker emulation in headphones-perfect for mixing stereo or ATMOS in headphones. The Crossfeed function emulates speaker behavior in terms of channel separation, so the extremely wide ambience experienced in headphones can be set in 5 stages.

The C-80 from Sony is a condenser microphone designed to deliver professional-quality vocal recordings with a powerful and rich midrange along with a hint of added presence to cut through the mix. The mic?s dual-capsule design helps to reduce proximity effect and provide a consistent-sounding response, even if the vocalist moves slightly closer or further away from the mic during a take.
Great care has been taken to ensure that the mic provides sonic character and little else. The two-part metallic construction is based on the highly regarded C-800G and C-100 models and prevents acoustic vibrations, helping to keep inherent noise and unwanted sonic artifacts out of your recordings.
The large-diaphragm condenser element yields a true frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, with a dynamic range of more than 125.5 dB. The C-80 plays quite nicely, even with loud singers, as the capsule offers a -10 dB pad and can handle SPLs up to 138 dB. A high-pass filter is also on board to help reduce low-end rumbles and other unwanted low-end frequencies, while a suspension shockmount is included to isolate the mic from vibrations and handling noise. A carrying case is also supplied for storage and transport.
The Enova NXT True Mold XLR Microphone Cable (16.4') is a flexible and reliable cable built for connecting mics to mixers, preamps, audio interfaces, and recorders. True Mold technology fully integrates the cable and connectors, providing strain relief that withstands a higher force than conventionally manufactured XLR cables to ensure outstanding strength and durability that stands up to the rigors of live stage and studio applications. This is a weather and Moisture Resistant Cable.
Enova True Mold cables are made from 24 AWG wire with a 98% copper spiral outer shield that makes the cable resistant to EMI and RFI noise. The Swiss-made EnovaNxt connectors are gold-plated to provide a high level of connectivity, and all the solder connections are protected by heat-shrink tubes. The modern and slick design of the body allows for enhanced handling and the tapered design puts an end to drooping cables.
Placed in front of your favorite vocal mic, the 512-Pop Microphone Pop Filter from 512 AUDIO delivers improved recording quality for any mic by reducing commonly problematic sounds from strong p and f consonants, making it a welcome accessory for recording podcasts, voiceovers, and vocal performances.
Its metal mesh design is visually pleasing and sonically effective while being easier to clean and more rugged than traditional nylon pop filters. Via the adjustable swivel C-clamp, the 512-Pop securely attaches to any boom arm or mic stand. The inclusion of a flexible and sturdy gooseneck ensures problem-free positioning of the pop filter.
With 80-ohm impedance, this configuration sits in a balanced place between being able to power demanding 250-ohm and consumer-grade 32-ohm headphones, providing a versatile design that will excel on high-end audio sources while being easily driven by smart devices. The wide frequency range of 5 Hz to 35 kHz reproduces nuance and detail within audio signals, and the DT 770 PRO sports an optimized impulse response for clear transients and accuracy. The ergonomics are refined for long-lasting durability and comfort, thanks to soft and replaceable velour earpads and a padded headband with a sturdy spring steel hoop. The DT 770 PRO includes a 1/4" TRS plug adapter.
- Super sound quality, especially when paired with a dedicated headphone amp
- A wider soundstage with more precise imaging
- High scalability, with the ability to improve sound quality when a better audio source or amp is used
- Breathable velour: The soft velour earpads offer breathability, for a high level of comfort and long-lasting durability.
