RigWheels MTCK Overview
Mount your camera rig onto our windshield or window pane with this Mag-Tight Curve Camera Windshield Mount Kit from RigWheels. The kit includes two RigMount 100 flat magnetic mounts, two RigMount 100 curved magnetic mounts, a mini grip head with 3/8" threads to 3/8" holes, a shoe adapter with 3/8"-16 stem, a 1/4"-20 barrel connector, and a 10" friction arm.
The magnetic mounts install on either side of a windshield to create a strong bond, and they feature 1/4"-20 threads to mount your camera gear. The curved mounts are used on the outside of the windshield to allow for windshield wiper blades to be used without disruption. The included mounting gear allows you to adapt multiple camera mounts and create different angles.
The RigWheels RigMount 100 High-Power Magnetic Mount with Short 1/4"-20 Mounting Screw is a magnetic camera car mount made of rare-earth materials to achieve a strong bond. This mount has a short, 1/4"-20 mounting screw on top for use with small cameras, small tripod heads, or support arms.
Each magnet has a special rubber coating to protect the surface you mount on and to prevent slippage, while preserving the pull strength of the magnet. The advantage of a magnetic mount over a suction mount is that it doesn't lose its holding strength over time. The magnets have up to a 100 lb pull resistance when joined together or placed on a steel surface.
The magnet is designed to hold a small-format camera such as a DSLRs or action camera, but you can also use multiple magnets together to support larger rigs. The magnets can also be joined through a glass window or windshield as an additional car mounting option.
One of several versions offered by RigWheels, this Mini Grip Head sports 1/4"-20, 5/16"-18, and 3/8"-16 threads on one side and 3/8" slotted plates on the other.
Designed to accommodate the use of both smooth rods and threaded screw components, the Mini Grip Head can be used as part of the RigWheels Magnetic Windshield Mount and in constructing a variety of production rigs.
Made for the RigWheels Mini Grip Head, the Hot Shoe Adapter with 3/8" Stem is inserted into the grip head, clamped down, and locked in place with the included nut. One end of the stem has a male fitting for a hot or cold shoe device or accessory.
