Remote Audio RMANK2 Overview
The Remote Audio Rainman Boom Mic Rain Cover is designed to soften the sound raindrops make when falling onto a boom mic. It fits over zeppelin-style windscreens, the Rycote Windshield Kit 2, and microphones 4.7 to 6.3" in length. The Rainman is more acoustically transparent than traditional "furry" windshield covers. Made of a soft, lightweight batting that does not absorb water or mat up when wet, it slows down drops as they flow through and are channeled out the front.
The exterior features a net material with sturdy stitching and a hook-and-loop closure. The Rainman goes on and off quickly and easily, and is secured with hook-and-loop closures. In heavier rain, it is recommended that the Rainman be used without a furry wind cover. A durable, waterproof hood is included.
