Redrock Micro's 8-113-0004 ultraCage Black theEvent Bundle for DSLR is a support rig that features a compact design that protects your DSLR. The bundle includes the ultraCage Black Professional Series DSLR, the Universal Shoe Clamp, microMount (without spud), 8" Grip Rod, microBrace body pad, 6" carbon fiber 15mm rods, two 4" Handlebar rods, and two microHandGrips. It is designed for most commonly available DSLR cameras and protects your DSLR without blocking any of its functionality.
Designed to provide support and stability yet remain as unobtrusive as possible, you hold the two handgrips and pull the unit into your body. The microBrace body pad cushions the rig against your body, providing stability. The cage protects your DSLR and provides multiple threaded mounting points that allow you to attach accessories to your DSLR without stressing the camera body. The built-in top-mounted rod clamps allow you to mount available 15mm rods above the lens for additional accessories. The ultraCage Bundle includes the Universal Shoe Clamp, allowing you to use a variety of DSLR cameras in the cage. The carbon fiber rods are sturdy but lightweight and provide support for available rod-mounted accessories.

The ultraCage Black Professional Series for DSLR Camera from Redrock Micro is a sleek, form-fitting support cage that provides the added protection and accessory support your DSLR camera needs for professional video use. It's universal design supports most standard height DSLR cameras from Canon, Nikon, and Sony.
Integrated into the ultraCage are top and bottom 15mm rod clamps. This allows the cage to serve a foundation for building up your rig, whether is for handheld, shoulder-mounted, or studio applications. Adding top rods is ideal for mounting accessories such a monitor, audio recorder, or wireless video transmitter, while bottom rods let you add a matte box and follow focus, as well as support accessories such as a shoulder mount and hand grips.
Your DSLR camera is secured in the ultraCage by a 1/4"-20 captive screw, locking pin (for compatible cameras), and a universal adjustable shoe clamp. These multiple contact points keep the camera from shifting in the cage. The cage also leaves all buttons, ports, and battery door accessible so you won't have to remove the camera from the cage during shoots. 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting holes along the sides let you attach accessories and support brackets, or even directly mount the cage to a Steadicam, car mount, or crane. Bottom threads are available for mounting on a tripod or quick-release plate.

Redrock Micro 4" Handlebar Rod
The 4" Handlebar Rod from Redrock Micro adds a 15mm 4" rod to the Handlebar Clamp. It features an anti-rotation locking mechanism and attaches with a standard hex screw.

Redrock Micro 8-011-0005 15mm Carbon Fiber Rod (6", Pair)
The 8-011-0005 15mm Carbon Fiber Rods (6", Pair) are designed specifically for Redrock Micro's wide variety of support systems. The rods are 15mm in size, making them ideal for attaching a mattebox, follow focus, and much more. The carbon fiber nets a total weight reduction of 66% when compared to stainless steel, making the unit incredibly light. Carbon fiber is not only extremely light, but also has a rigidity that exceeds titanium, making it extremely sturdy.
