These Background Clips (12-pack) from Raya are a simple solution when you have an uneven background. Whether using a paper or a fabric background suspended from a crossbar, if it isn't stretched tightly, it can wrinkle or move. Each of these clips secures to a background stand or varipole with hook-and-loop fastening strips, and the elastic bands adjust to ensure an even, taut, and flat background from edge to edge. Strong steel background clips offer a grip that won't give or slip throughout your photo session.
The twelve clips can be spaced around the background to make sure it's stretched evenly across the support system, preventing wrinkles and folds in the background material. Simple and cheap
Simple and work well. Cheaper at than other places. My pack arrived with two defective clips, but replaced it immediately with no hassle!
Hmmmm
A little flimsy...had one end tear off from the strap. Clips hold well, but in the end a standard clamp on the stand worked best. A little clumsy to use. But I will find something to use them for around the house!
One of those AH-HA pieces of gear! Does the job well
This is one of those pieces of gear that makes you wonder why you didn't already have it. Very practical, seems to work better than larger clamps. They seem to be pretty well made and should last a good while under normal use.
Smooths out the background
These clips do what they are supposed to do and hold the background (canvas, fabric, or seamless paper) taught so that there are not wrinkles or folds seen in the photos. The pack comes with 12 but using 6 of them is sufficient for most backdrops. This just means that you have enough in this package for two different backdrop stands.
