The Radius Mini-ALTO 300 Blimp Windshield with RAD-2 Kit and PG Handle is a compact, full-coverage blimp windshield system designed for location sound professionals who need lightweight, reliable wind protection, and superior shock isolation in a portable format. This complete kit includes the award-winning RAD-2 shockmount, PG pistol grip handle, and Radius?s innovative magnetic Mini-ALTO pod-style windshield with removable gray long-pile fur cover.
Fast Setup, Exceptional Performance
Engineered for quick setup in the field, the two-part magnetic pod design allows the windshield to be fitted or removed in seconds, while maintaining outstanding wind noise reduction?up to -40 dB with the included fur cover. The RAD-2 mount provides excellent isolation from handling noise, and comes with interchangeable hoop suspensions to accommodate a range of microphone weights and sensitivities.
Longest Mini-ALTO for Maximum Coverage
Maintaining the same slim 85mm diameter, the Mini-ALTO 300 offers the greatest internal length in the series?ideal for longer shotgun microphones that require full enclosure. This version of the kit includes all accessories except an XLR cable, making it well suited for users who prefer to supply their own cabling.
