The Radius Mini-ALTO 280 Blimp Windshield ADD-ON Kit is a compact, full-coverage blimp windshield system designed for location sound professionals who need lightweight, reliable wind protection in a portable format. This add-on kit is designed for users who already have a RAD-2 or RAD-3 shockmount, and includes Radius?s innovative magnetic Mini-ALTO pod-style windshield with removable gray long-pile fur cover. It also provides a smiley-face-style RAD adapter, a magnetic windshield stowage holder with carabiner clip, and a pair of RAD cable straps.
Fast Setup, Exceptional Performance
Engineered for quick setup in the field, the two-part magnetic pod design allows the windshield to be fitted or removed in seconds, while maintaining outstanding wind noise reduction?up to -40 dB with the included fur cover.
Extended Length for More Flexibility
With the same slim 85mm diameter as the Mini-ALTO 250, the 280 version offers additional internal length to accommodate longer shotgun microphones.
