The Rainbow 2 Linear Travel 4-Light Kit from Quasar Science features four 4' RGBX linear LED lights in a durable travel case. The high-efficiency RGBX LED lights blend colors and brightness for millions of available colors and intensities, useful for creating fill and accents in both still imaging and video-based applications. It is a compact turnkey lighting solution for set lighting technicians, camera teams, art departments, and independent online content creators alike. This light kit also includes Ossium mounting system accessories and a custom travel-ready case for protection during transport and storage.
The Rainbow 2 Linear RGB LED Tube Light from Quasar Science is a 4' linear LED tube that offers multi-pixel control with high CRI/TLCI ratings, an SSI daylight rating of 74, and a tungsten rating of 91. The high-efficiency LEDs blend colors and brightness for millions of available colors and intensities. The integrated Pixel software provides control over 20 pre-built effects and macros, including rainbow, short circuit, customizable emergency lights, and much more. Each pixel can be controlled independently, or even grouped together so the light operates as a single pixel.
The Rainbow 2 is a useful linear LED for motion picture and content creation. A workhorse for everything from lighting actors to environments, it outputs up to 91.9 lux at 9.8' (5600K) and provides high-quality tunable white light and a high RGB color saturation. Multiple pixels maintain super smooth, flicker-free dimming and billions of available colors. This linear LED light offers incredible data connectivity whether wired or wireless, and can be powered anywhere via multi-voltage AC and DC power inputs. The integrated Ossium Mounting System (OMS) allows for rigging in ways previously unobtainable.
The Ossium Battery Plate from Quasar Science attaches to an Ossium Rail or Slider, allowing the lights attached to them to run on V-Mount batteries when AC power is unavailable.
Sold separately in the Ossium Mounting System is the Ossium Rotator, which acts as a mini-grip head, giving you the most flexibility in positioning your lights or batteries. When you screw it directly to the Rail, Slider, or even the Battery Plate, it allows you to attach your batteries to any 5/8" or 3/8" rod. Attaching two Rotator Blocks back to back offers two swivel points on two separate axis.
Use these Ossium Magnets (2-pack) from Quasar Science to turn any ferrous metal surface into a rigging point. Useful for warehouses and sound stages, the magnets are fitted with 1/4"-20 threads and sturdily attach to the Ossium rail or slider.
The 4' Rainbow 2 Quad Case with Foam from Quasar Science is a dedicated kit case for the Rainbow 2 Quad Kit with 4' LED tube lights. The interior fitted foam insert holds all the kit contents in place during transport or storage. Made of durable, waterproof, polypropylene copolymer resin, this case can be checked as baggage for air travel and may be secured with user-supplied padlocks.
