This was my fault, but I thought it would work on a standard SLR tripod mount. It needs a video mount. In hindsight, I should have bought the Desktop Variant. Note, it is easy to fit an SLR to this rig, but if you want to mount the whole thing on a Tripod, the kit is designed to fit a video tripod, not a still camera tripod. The item was well packaged and included plenty of accessories and a good carry bag.
