ProMediaGear TR42C Overview
This TR42C Carbon Fiber Center Column from ProMediaGear adds a rapid center column to 42-series tripods. The column is also compatible with Gitzo Systematic Series 5 tripods. It allows the user to easily extend the flat base of the tripod, adding 15" of height to your setup.
This accessory center column has a load capacity of 25 lb, a travel distance of 15", and locks quickly into position with a robust twist lock collar. An anti-rotation channel prevents unwanted column rotation while repositioning the camera. The head plate features a 3/8"-16 threaded mount, and the other end of the column has an integrated ballast hook to add weight for added stability.
