Like it, I think, if I could figure out how to dress my camera with it
This Rain Slicker is elaborately constructed, lots of flaps and Velcro and even one part that attaches with a zipper to the main part. There is a bit that accommodates the viewfinder, I figured out that much, and I figured out where the lens goes. Nice fabric. Plenty of room (except maybe for the flip out screen). So many flaps and Velcro strips. Flaps, Velcro, what attaches to what? Does this bit go over, under or around a particular protuberance? Intuitively, I am certain this product is solid. I just wish I could figure out how to wrap it around my camera properly. But it is fashionable because for so many products these days, there is no manual. So I dock it two stars for usability. Come on, Porta Brace. Somebody at your company designed this. Did she/he suddenly quit without notice upon handing in the prototype? Don�t market this product unless you draw out of that person what his/her design intention was. A diagram with numbers and arrows and a brief explanation, is that so hard? How about a video demonstrating how to put this on Ursa Minis in their common configurations? You must have at least one camera at your facility � the one you used to fit your patterns! Another negative worth mentioning is the little clamp that adjusts the lens fit comes off the strings way too easily and is in constant peril of being lost. An easy correction would be to put knobs on the ends of the string. But I will keep this product, and spend more time trying to figure out how to fit it to my camera for tripod and shoulder work, preferably one Rain Slicker combination that transitions between both configurations. Oh, and with attached shotgun mic, light, and receiver for a radio mic.
Covers the job
The cover does exactly what I was hoping it would: cover the camera and EVERY piece that comes with it, and still gives me enough space to get my hands on it. I've bought rain covers for my Canon 5D in the past that left no room for my hands. This one leaves ample room while still covering the camera, lens, LCD screen, and handle. Thanks to an adjustable cord I am able to cover my lenses safely as well.
