Basic Tips for Recording Audio for Video | Audio for Video, Part 1Choosing a Mic for Video Production | Audio for Video, Part 2How to Get Great Audio Levels | Audio for Video, Part 3Recording Sound to Your Camera vs. an Audio Recorder | Audio for Video, Part 4
Use the Polsen PL-2C-35H Cardioid Lavalier Microphone with your Sennheiser transmitter or Polsen UWM wireless system to clearly and accurately capture voices in live presentation environments for interviews, lectures, and presentations. The mic's 1/8" (3.5mm) TRS connector locks onto your transmitter's input jack and prevents unintended disconnection due to cable strain or an accidental tug. The 46" cable provides plenty of slack, so you can move freely while you speak.
By employing a cardioid polar pattern, the PL-2C-35H is able to focus on the sound in front of the mic while rejecting off-axis sound and noise, ensuring quality speech capture in noisy venues. The cardioid polar pattern also ensures a lower risk of feedback when using a PA system. Discreet placement of the PL-2C-35H is easy, thanks to its small 1/4" diameter and included tie clip.
Designed for Speech
The PL-2C-35H features a tuned frequency response that's optimized to capture speech. Whether you're recording an interview, lecturing, vlogging, or creating a podcast, this lavalier captures voices with accuracy and clarity.
Cardioid Polar Pattern
The cardioid polar pattern is ideal for live presentation applications, such as lectures, since cardioid microphones focus on the sound in front of them while rejecting off-axis noise. This makes them less susceptible to feedback when addressing an audience through a PA system.
46" Cable
The 46" mic cable gives you enough length move naturally and turn your head without concern for putting strain on the cable or accidentally tugging the connector out of the input jack.
Mini TRS Connector
The PL-2C-35H is compatible with Sennheiser wireless systems with 1/8" (3.5mm) input jacks. It's also a cardioid option for Polsen's UWM-2 wireless system that includes the Polsen PL-2O omnidirectional lavalier microphone.
Discreet Mic Placement
An included tie clip lets you discreetly place the microphone on your lapel, collar, tie, or elsewhere on your wardrobe.
Foam Windscreen
Don't let a little puff of wind interrupt your shoot. The foam windscreen minimizes noise from light breezes that can compromise your audio.
