Point Source Audio CX2-8D Overview
The beige Confidence CX2-8D Dual Omnidirectional/Cardioid Headset Microphone from Point Source Audio is a dual-element microphone with both an omnidirectional mic and a cardioid mic in a single headset with a dual-ear design. The two mics are wired separately but share a single 3.9' cable that is wired to two of Point Source's proprietary X-Connector connections, which allows you to connect to a wide variety of wireless transmitters simply by swapping out X-Connector adapters. A pair of 3-pin LEMO X-Connectors for Sennheiser SK, Shure UR1M, Zaxcom, and WisyCom wireless transmitters are included.
The all-in-one solution is suitable for hybrid events, with the omnidirectional microphone providing live sound and the cardioid microphone used for a simultaneous broadcast feed. The mic cable splits to allow ample separation between both wireless transmitters.
