This black CO-3-Kit from Point Source Audio is an entry-level headset microphone with a 4-pin cH-style Hirose connector for Audio-Technica wireless transmitters. It is designed for speech reinforcement in presentations, church liturgy, lecturing, and other applications where the speaker requires a hands-free microphone solution.
The kit features an omnidirectional microphone in a low-profile headset that is worn on the left ear. A reversible dual-ear mic clip is included that provides more secure positioning, if desired, and allows the mic to be worn on the left or the right ear. The omnidirectional polar pattern offers a forgiving 360 degree pickup pattern. The fixed-boom design reduces speech-popping sounds and voice overloads by conveniently placing the mic near the mouth and keeping the capsule away from potential clothing and fabric noise. The kit also includes a storage case, cable clip, and 6 windscreens for the CO-3 microphone.

The forgiving omnidirectional pickup pattern makes the headset easy to wear and is well suited for use low to moderate noise environments.
A rigid boom with a fixed length offers a sturdy, unobtrusive, and low-profile design. This makes the mic and headset barely noticeable, especially from a distance.
