Plugable's USB Type-C Flash Memory Card Reader is plug-and-play compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux systems. It connects to your system using an integrated 5 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C cable and supports card sizes up to 2TB. When working with SD and microSD media, the UHS-I bus is supported with speeds up to 104 MB/s.

The benefits of USB 3.1 Gen 1's increased throughput over USB 2.0 are seen on SD cards Class 10 and up.
