Description
Plugable DPM-HDMIF Overview
The Plugable DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter allows you to connect from a Dual-Mode DisplayPort (DP++) output on your laptop, desktop, or tablet to virtually any HDMI-enabled display. This passive adapter relies on the DisplayPort output of the host system to provide the necessary signaling to support an HDMI display. The adapter supports resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz. All resolutions below 4K, including 2560 x 1440 and 1080p resolutions, are supported at a 60 Hz refresh rate.
- Compatible with laptops, desktops, or tablets that have a DP++ output port to add an HDMI monitor, TV, or projector
- To display content at a 4K resolution, the host's graphics adapter and attached display need to support 4K
Please note that this adapter is not bi-directional and will not convert video in the other direction: it only works from a DisplayPort output to HDMI input. Furthermore, this adapter is not compatible with Microsoft Surface Docking Stations and does not support AMD Eyefinity or NVIDIA Surround.
