Platinum Tools 100020C Overview
Platinum Tools provides 50 Shielded EZ-RJ45 Connectors to create cables that meet Category 5e and 6 standards. These connectors feature a fully shielded design with an internal ground that improves noise immunity at all frequencies, especially at above 30 MHz. This shielded design reduces crosstalk and increases performance. To verify your termination, each connector comes outfitted with thru holes that let you pass colored networking wires through and out in the front. In addition, these connectors come in a clamshell packaging and are compatible with solid or stranded wires.
EZ-RJ45 design allows the wires to pass through the connector so the twists in each pair can be pulled closer to the contacts than conventional plugs
Maintaining the twists to the point of termination significantly decreases crosstalk and increases performance
Fully shielded connectors provide reduced pair-to-pair crosstalk, alien crosstalk, and improved immunity to noise at all frequencies
Improve Shannon capacity
