With a corrugated aluminum membrane in the microphone center that reaches from front to back, a balanced audio signal is provided to both sides of the ribbon motor assembly, and the assembly delivers an exceptionally wide frequency response with an extended sensitivity range. A Lundahl 2912 transformer provides a further extended frequency range, improved definition, a lower floor, and a higher ceiling.
