This boxed version of the retail license for Parallels Desktop 17 is optimized for systems running macOS Monterey 12, but will work with macOS High Sierra 10.13 or later. Backed by a 1-year license, this fast, user-friendly, and powerful application is designed for running Windows on a Mac without needing to reboot. Features new to this version include support for M1-based Macs, the Windows 11 OS, speed and performance updates, an improved driver display, improvements to Coherence Mode, an Automatic Resource Manager, enhanced drag-and-drop between Windows and Mac, enhanced USB 3.1 support, better control of disk space, and more. In addition to support for M1 Macs, there are features unique to the M1 chip, including the ability of Windows 10 to recognize Mac battery status and enable battery saving, a virtual TPM chip for BitLocker and SecureBoot, native sound drivers in Linux, and dynamic resolution support for Linux.

As with previous versions of Parallels, users will have the flexibility to get up and running in minutes and bring files, applications, browser bookmarks, and more to your Mac. You can also use the Touch Bar with Windows, as well as copy-and-paste or drag-and-drop between Windows and Mac.
