Beautiful hard drive, inside and out
I love these hard drives, I have a 12T and 18T. They work really well with my new MacBook Pro. At first, when the computer would go to sleep, they would sometimes dismount and then when the computer would wake up they would remount, but I'd see that message that they were not dismounted properly. Tech support recommended two changes in the system preferences, and now they work well. (The settings they recommended were under Battery, then Power Adapter, Uncheck "Prevent computer from sleeping automatically when display is off and Uncheck Put hard drives to sleep when possible.) The drives are fast and smooth. I love the cables they come with, and I love the blue case. I used to buy G-Drives because I thought they were the best. These are a great replacement. I was impressed with the recommendation of Mike Bomich of Carbon Copy Cloner. Theses hard drives really are the best kept secret, as another reviewer wrote.

Can't beat this value.
It's a solid well built drive. The rubber sleeve provides good protection from any accidental knocks or bumps. Transfer speeds and performance are what you would expect from an enterprise level hard drive. Also really like that it comes with both C-C and C-A USB cables.
Oyen is the best kept secret in the drive industry.
I have been buying Oyen for some time now... they're products are insanely good and this drive is no exception. I dont understand how they aren't bigger than they are because of the reliability of their drives and the build quality. The Helix Dura is the best thing since sliced bread... knocks the Samsung T5s out of the water and any home built NVME drive. Thanks Oyen ... keep it up!
Pretty massive, works well
This is #2 Oyen for me, the 1st works well, many miles on it by now. This one holds more than #1 and is massive. It is well armored with rubberized corners for rough handling, but I can't imagine anyone would carry this monster around in a briefcase.
PC does not recognize drive
PC does not recognize drive. I am returning it.
Large disk not immediately recognized by mac
This is an economical 10tb disk. Surprisingly it is not recognized by macs on boot if the power is already on. It must be powered on after the computer boots or it will not appear on the desktop. A bit annoying to work with if you have to reboot.
