Boost the storage capacity of your laptop or desktop with the Gemini 40TB 2-Bay Thunderbolt 3 Raid Array (2 x 20TB) from OWC. Equipped with a pair of 20TB 3.5" 7200 rpm HDDs, this RAID array delivers fast transfers at speeds up to 537 MB/s. Two Thunderbolt 3 ports accommodate a host connection via the included cable, while also supporting daisy chaining. Two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports are also present, along with a Gigabit Ethernet port, a DisplayPort 1.2 output, and a UHS-II SD card reader. With its hardware RAID controller, the Mercury Elite Pro Dock comes preconfigured in RAID 0 and supports RAID 1, SPAN, and JBOD modes. A preinstalled fan ensures components cool, while a Kensington Lock slot can be used to secure the array to a permanent fixture using a compatible lock, available separately.

If you desire the extra security of mirrored data, you can configure the Gemini in RAID 1 mode. Need more drive flexibility? Set up a span to combine the capacity of the two drives into one huge volume or use the drives as independent volumes.

You can customize the Gemini to quickly adapt to project changes and help you stay ahead of deadlines. With built-in hardware RAID, you have four drive set-up choices:
