OREI UHD-EX230 Overview
The 4K HDMI KVM Extender Set from OREI features a transmitter and a receiver unit that enable you to deliver uncompressed HDMI video and USB keyboard/mouse signals via Cat 6 cable up to 230' away. This system supports resolutions up to UHD 4K60, HDMI loop output on the transmitter, audio de-embedding, EDID passthrough, HDCP 2.2, HDR video, and bidirectional power-over-cable.
UHD 4K Video Extension
Deliver up to UHD 4K60 4:4:4 RGB video with support for HDMI 2.0b and HDCP 2.2, ensuring compatibility with the latest displays and protected content in theaters, control rooms, and high-end AV setups.
Zero Latency
Transmit uncompressed UHD 4K video and embedded audio signals up to 230' over a single Cat 6/6a cable with zero delay. The system supports 18 Gb/s bandwidth for real-time applications such as broadcasting, live monitoring, and streaming.
Enhanced Audio
The set supports immersive audio in formats such as LPCM 2.0-7.1, Dolby Digital, Dolby TrueHD, and Dolby Digital Plus. The 3.5mm analog audio output on the receiver allows for audio de-embedding for sending to external speakers or sound systems.
EDID Compatibility
Built-in EDID passthrough ensures optimal handshaking between your source and display devices for reliable performance.
Remote KVM Control
The set supports USB 1.1 KVM passthrough over Cat 6 to allow remote control of the source device via a USB-A keyboard and mouse at the display location.
Simplified Power with PoC
With bidirectional Power over Cable (PoC), the system can be powered from either end, reducing cable clutter and simplifying installation.
