The On-Stage MSA-9502 is a mini-boom measuring 7" in length. This particular boom is designed for those hard to reach places, which makes it quite suitable for drum or instrument miking in confined spaces.
The MSA-9502 sports a patented Posi-Lok design for angle adjustment, one that provides two disks with 52 teeth to ensure the boom remains locked after it's set in place by the round, ergonomic knob. The Posi-Lok design rotates 300°. Standard 5/8"-27 threads at both ends allow you to place the boom on most microphone shafts, and likewise, to accepts most standard mic clips.
