Obsidian EN6D Overview

Designed for maximum flexibility in permanent installations, the EN6D DIN Rail Wall Mount Ethernet/DMX Node from Elation Professional offers configurable top, bottom, and front ports and multiple mounting options for those requiring a compact unit with various wiring options. This Ethernet to DMX gateway has six RDM-compatible wire terminal or RJ45 outputs, along with integrated presets and a wide array of advanced merge and routing features. Adding to its versatility, the NETRON EN6D can be powered by PoE or DC input from 9 to 48V.

Configurations

Find RJ45, screw-terminals, or IDC configuration options offered through exchangeable plates, which can be installed on the top or bottom or front of the EN6D. Other highlights are RDM, Art-Net, and sACN support, factory and user presets for plug-and-play setups, and a convenient full color 1.3" OLED display with rotary knob.

Connections

The EN6D includes a 6-port RJ45 connection plate, a 6-port terminal block connection plate, six screw terminals with security screws, and six IDC connectors with security screws.

Mounting

Its powder-coated aluminum housing is designed for DIN or wall mount. Elation Professional includes two wall-mount plates and DIN rail clamps for convenience.

Additional Details

UL924-compliant, the EN6D provides a dedicated emergency cue, wet, or dry contact closure, and a prominent test button with integrated LED feedback. Record a custom cue or set all DMX channels to 100%. Emergency off timeout can be customized and individual channels excluded from the emergency cue. The unit has cETLus, CE, IP20, and UL924 approvals and ratings.
