Featuring old-school Porro prisms, prized by fans for an image that seems more three-dimensional, the 12x50 SE Binoculars from Oberwerk offer powerful magnification and large objective lenses for a bright view, even in low-light conditions. FK-61 extra-low dispersion lenses and full antireflection broadband multicoating deliver a crisp, high-contrast image with minimal chromatic aberration. The waterproof housing is nitrogen-filled for fog resistance and wrapped in a slip-resistant rubber armoring for shock resistance and a comfortable grip. Binoculars this powerful generally require use of a tripod and an optional tripod adapter for the 12x50 ED is available separately.
