Featuring old-school Porro prisms that are prized by fans for an image that seems more three-dimensional, the 10x42 SE Binoculars from Oberwerk offer plenty of magnification and a robust 6.5° angle of view. FK-61 extra-low dispersion lenses and full antireflection broadband multicoating deliver a crisp, high-contrast image with minimal chromatic aberration. The 10x42 SE can focus as close as 13 feet away for observation of nearby birds, insects, or flowers. The waterproof aluminum housing is nitrogen-filled for fog resistance and wrapped in a slip-resistant rubber armoring for shock resistance and a comfortable grip.
