This 86mm NiSi Nano IR ND Filter provides a 10-stop exposure reduction. Its 3.0 optical density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed without overexposing your image. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you can control depth of field and convey movement more easily. The added infrared protection coating layer on this filter helps to eliminate the infrared light that can cause IR pollution on digital cameras without an IR cut filter.
