NiSi Black Mist Filter Kit For Ricoh GR IIIx

The Black Mist Filter Kit For Ricoh GR IIIx from NiSi brings classic cinematic style diffusion to the Ricoh GR IIIx compact camera. The solid aluminum adapter ring has a dedicated bayonet-type mount for attaching to the camera body, plus a 49mm filter thread. The included Black Mist 1/4 Diffusion filter lowers contrast by suppressing and diffusing highlights and lifting shadows to help balance the image's tonal range. Inspired by the popular cinema range "Allure Mist Black" it creates a cinematic look, and is also commonly used to soften wrinkles, blemishes and create a flattering image of a subject. The effect is most effective when capturing light that diffuses softly when backlit, creating a transparent light that looks like it was taken with a high-quality vintage lens.

Each surface of this optical glass filter features NiSi's Nano coating for an improved beading effect when in contact with water, oil, or grease for easy cleaning. This Black Mist filter is made with a high-quality brass frame for enhanced durability to resist jamming. This kit also includes a replacement silver lens ring and a rose red lens ring to give the GR IIIx a new look when the adaptor is not in use.
