An Amazing Lens
This lens is now one of my favorites. Though amazing for head shots, its macro capabilities are what really makes it phenomenal. The VR stabilization is perfect, and the glass in this lens is even better: no chromatic aberration. At all. I'd highly recommend it.
Great New Nikon Z Mount 105mm Macro
I have taken a number of photos with the new Nikkor Z mount 105 macro, I find the lens very easy to use and shoot with. It focuses very quickly and it's easy to handle. My photos were very sharp, and I plan on using this lens regularly. I reommend this lens as a macro lns in your Nikon Z lens group.
2nd review - Awesome!
I had only had a couple of days with this lens and I prematurely appraised not completely familiar with the focal distance and focal plane. After a week shooting with both a Nikon D850 and Z7II I am very impressed with the clarity and focus.
It lives up to it's reputation
I am very happy with the 105 lens! I can't wait to use it on hummingbirds this coming summer. I took some practice shots from about 5 feet away from a bird feeder today using Snapbridge and the wifi on the camera connected to my iphone. The detail is amazing!

Love this lens. Super sharp images, and light and easy to carry. It's a great focal length for a lot of use cases, and really like using in macro mode.
