The Nikon EP-5B Power Supply Connector for Select Nikon Cameras lets you power select Nikon DSLR and COOLPIX cameras from the EH-5A or EH-5B power supply and that way save battery power. Should be cheaper
Really too expensive, but very handy. Saves on batteries for long stacking jobs. I guess anything with a Nikon logo is gonna cost too much.
Great for studio shooting
Works well for providing power without batteries. My 10 year old one is pulling apart (from gravity) so I bought this as a backup.

Works as per en-el15b 7.0v in my d850 so great for indoor use, transferring data, watching video, would I imagine come into it's own with timelapse shots, usual Nikon accessories pricing but if you are going to buy 1 get the nikon!
This works exactly how it should and is the perfect size.
This works great which I expected, but it also fitls on my rig perfectly so I can use this with plug in power.

I am satisfied with this item, it works as expected. I purchased this for my Z6. I have a similar 3rd party power supply connector for my Nikon D810 but it did not work with Z6. The good news is, the 3rd party AC adapter I use with my D810 also works with the EP-5B. I feel the price is high for what this is. I am giving 3 out of 5 stars due to: 1 - High price 2 - Now I need to own/carry multiple power supply connectors. I feel Nikon should have built/programed the Z6 to work with previous model connectors instead of forcing their loyal customers to purchase additional accessories!
Does what it's supposed to do
It works perfectly with my Z6ii. I gave 4 stars since Nikon charges a lot for it. Knock offs can be found for less than half this price, but sometimes you want branded gear.
Great for studio work
Saves battery switching. This is my second one. The old one, maybe 8 years old, was starting to pull apart.
