Product Overview
NEVB-NPS4053 is a load switch evaluation board. It is a specialized PCB designed for the Nexperia load switch family. The PCB features test points for GND, VIN, VOUT, FLG, and EN, which allow for convenient connection of oscilloscope probes. Designed with user-friendliness in mind, it streamlines the testing and analysis of the load switch's dynamic characteristics, such as RON and smooth turn-on measurements. Decoupling capacitors are connected to VIN at the input of the evaluation board and close to the load switch IC. The same holds for the output. VIN-Sense and VOUT-Sense are used when accurate measurements of the input or output are required. Make RON measurements using these Kelvin sense connections when measuring the voltage drop from VIN to VOUT.
- Input voltage can be supplied via the test points, VIN can range from 2.5V to 5.5V

- ON resistance (RON) is 55mohm, ±6% current accuracy at 1.2A
