Quickly expand your small home or business network to support computers, storage, smart TVs, and more with the Netgear GS308EPP 8-Port Gigabit PoE+ Compliant Managed Switch. Designed as a step-up from unmanaged switches while still providing plug-and-play convenience, the GS308EPP provides essential features with an easy-to-use management interface. It also features eight PoE+ compliant Gigabit Ethernet ports with a 123W budget, supporting powered devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, and access points.
Its 16 Gb/s switching capacity helps to ensure smooth data transfers while support for VLAN traffic segmentation helps to secure access for connected devices. Simply connect the switch to your router and use the web-based configuration utility to get set up. No additional hardware devices or software drivers are required. Other features include QoS traffic prioritization for optimized audio and video communications and DoS attack prevention. The GS308EPP has a fanless design with a metal chassis that allows it to operate silently when mounted onto a desktop or wall so that it won't disturb your working environment.
Featuring eight PoE+ compliant Gigabit Ethernet ports with a 123W budget, the GS308EPP can transfer both power and data with compatible devices. The integrated power management system allows you to enable or disable power for each port, limit the PoE voltage per port, and more. PoE stays on during firmware updates to provide an uninterrupted experience.
Configure up to 64 VLANS to separate traffic and permissions into different groups.
The GS308EPP supports up to 128 multicast groups, with features such as IGMP Snooping, rate limiting for bandwidth allocation, and Quality of Service (QoS) traffic prioritization to help ensure smooth video and audio traffic. Additionally, unknown multicasts can be blocked.
Auto DoS (Denial-of-Service) attack prevention, Storm Control, Port Mirroring, and other features help to protect your network from attacks.
Quickly troubleshoot connections with the cable testing utility.
Combine up to two ports using link aggregation to enhance the bandwidth and support multi-Gig connections to compatible devices.
