The UM-1 Digital Motor from Movcam provides precise repeatable control of your focus, zoom, or iris ring, and is suitable for use with both prime lenses and most zooms. It is available for users that want to upgrade their single axis system to a dual axis system. You can adjust the torque of the motor. This enables fine tuning your motor to your lens for optimal performance and minimal stress on your lens.
Simply press and hold the button on your motor to automatically calibrate it to your lens. Additionally, you can reverse the direction on the motor when using lenses that don't follow the cinema standard for rotation direction. The motor natively mounts on a 19mm rod, but will also mount on a 15mm rod when using the included 19 to 15mm adapter sleeve.
- Drive Gear
- The included 0.8 MOD gear fits cine-style lens gears. The gear is removable, so you can swap it out for optional gears for video lenses and non-standard lens gears.
- Motor Function
- You can calibrate the motor to your lens by holding down the calibrate button for three seconds.
- Reversible
- The motor drive is reversible, which allows you to use lenses that focus in the opposite direction from standard without having to add a physical reversing gear.
- Works with MRS-1 control or MAF-1 auto focus systems.
