It includes a compact VCT-14 adapter plate and a universal 9" dovetail plate, to be used interchangeably. The VCT-14 plate secures to the front of the rig and interacts with a hook slot located on the rear, behind the shoulder pad. The Base Kit provides front, rear, and top 15mm LWS rod support for attaching a follow focus, matte box, EVF, and other accessories. It also offers a removable rosette mount for handgrips on the left side, plus a second rosette mount on a side bracket for attaching a stock Sony stock handle closer to the rear of the rig. A lens mount support is provided on the front for 1/4"-20 threaded adapters.
The top plate, side bracket, and top of the distribution box offer 1/4"-20 mounting threads and ARRI Accessory Mounts for accessories. The distribution box provides a V-mount battery plate and 4-pin XLR output port for running power to the camera, and it additionally has two D-Tap and two 2-pin LEMO connectors for powering accessories in a comprehensive workflow.
