MPQ8112A is low cost, unipolar, high side current sense amplifier. Device operates from a 2.7V to 60V supply and typically consume a 300µA current. It is ideal for today's automotive systems, industrial supplies and systems where battery/DC current monitoring is critical. High side current monitoring is especially useful in battery powered systems, since it does not interfere with the ground path of battery charger. Common mode input ranges between 0V and 60V with a 700kHz high bandwidth. That makes this device suitable for use in inside control and short-circuit protection loops. It converts differential input voltage to a current output. This current is converted back to a voltage with an external load resistor. It is available in TSOT23-6L package. Applications include advanced driver assistance systems, sensor fusion systems, electric power steering systems, electronic stability control (ESC) systems, brake systems, battery-operated systems and energy management systems.
