MINISFORUM N5 Overview
With the Minisforum N5 AI NAS 5-Bay Enclosure, you'll be able to store and share personal or public files, videos, and pictures with ease. This NAS enclosure features five drive bays plus three M.2 slots. Both the 5GbE and 10GbE LAN ports allow for fast file transfers. The N5 AI is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 255 8-Core processor and comes with a 128GB M.2 SSD. The N5 AI features two SO-DIMM DDR5 slots with a max capacity of 96GB. With MinisCloud OS, the N5 AI provides ample storage for personal and home use.
AMD Ryzen 7 Performance
Powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 255 8-Core processor, the N5 AI delivers robust multi-threaded performance for concurrent access and fast file retrieval. It can also provide media decoding for improved performance. The integrated AM Radeon 780M graphics provide smooth 4K video transcoding.
Five Drive Bays
The N5 AI features five 3.5" drive bays and three M.2 slots. An M.2 to U.2 adapter is included. The five drive bays fit in a compact design.
Multiple RAID Modes
The N5 AI supports RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5/RAIDZ1, RAID6/RAIDZ2, and mixed drive strategies for hot data and cold backup.
Slide-Out Design
The Minisforum's slide-out motherboard allows for quick RAM and SSD upgrades. The modular design supports standard RAM, avoiding onboard limits for flexible upgrades.

The dual 9225 large axial fans actively cool the HDD bays, ensuring stable and cool operation at all times.
