This Miller CiNX 5 and HDC 100 1-Stage Tripod System features the CiNX 5 fluid head, 100mm bowl HDC 100 aluminum tripod legs, ground spreader, and a wheeled carry case. The included version of the HDC 100 tripod has spiked feet only and is ground spreader ready.
The CiNX 5 supports 4.4 to 46.2 lb loads and offers 16 steps of counterbalance and 7 + 0 steps of pan and tilt drag. It features a flat base and comes with a 100mm bowl claw adapter. This head is designed to achieve ultra-soft starts and stops and balanced diagonal transitions. A sideload camera plate system allows you to efficiently mount and remove your camera.
With the head and ground spreader attached, the tripod offers a height range of approximately 36 to 68.5" in one stage of adjustment.
The wheeled case is designed with high-pressure resin, polymer, and aluminum materials and has a top handle, side handle, and bottom wheels. It's IP67 watertight and resistant to dust, moisture, acids, and sand. Other features include an automatic air pressure valve and inner padding.
Miller CiNX 5 Fluid Head
In comparison to the CiNX 3 head, Miller 's CiNX 5 Fluid Head offers 7 + 0 steps of pan and tilt drag and a slightly higher payload of 4.4 to 46.2 lb, while counterbalance remains at 16 steps. The CiNX series is designed with a strength-to-size ratio that provides an optimal solution for supported load capacities. At the same time, the drag and counterbalance systems offer progressive and equal increments of drag and torque to ensure ultra-soft starts and stops and balanced diagonal transitions. In this regard, the additional two steps of drag allow for even smoother and more effective operation.
The CiNX 5 features a 3/8"-16 threaded flat base and includes a 100mm bowl claw adapter. Optional 150mm bowl or Mitchell base adapters from Miller are also supported.
The pan/tilt controls and a bubble level are all illuminated at the press of an illumination button. The CiNX 5 comes with a GP23A-type battery already installed for illumination but supports multiple other types as you will find in the user manual.
For ultimate efficiency with heavy cameras, the CiNX 5 has a sideload camera plate platform with a safety lock, and it comes with an ARRI-type camera plate that can be adjusted approximately 6". It also includes a rosette-mount telescopic pan handle while supporting two in total for dual-handed operation. On the sides, it provides four anti-twist ARRI accessory mounts. The head is made of lightweight yet high-strength die-cast aluminum and rigid composite polymers. It's finished with a durable black ripple and anti-corrosive pretreatment. It also has water- and dust-resistant sealing.
The head also has a very wide operating temperature range of -40 to 149°F.

Miller HDC 100 1-Stage Metal Alloy Tripod (Ground Spreader Ready)
The heavy-duty Miller HDC 100 1-Stage Metal Alloy Tripod is a quick-setup solution for a tripod head that fits a 100mm bowl base. Its standard height design and metal alloy construction support up to 210 lb for use in ENG, EFP, and other pro video applications.
The HDC 100 extends from 28 to 60.6" in height, and when it's folded up for transport it measures 36.9". The tripod feet have integrated steel spikes to add stability on rough or uneven terrain, and each leg's single stage is secured with rotating locks. Compatible ground spreaders, rubber feet, and dollies are available separately.
Miller HD Ground Spreader for HD MB 1-Stage Tripod
The HD Ground Spreader from Miller is designed for use with the HD MB 1-Stage Tripod. It allows for rapid setup and pull-down by keeping tripod legs at an equal or preset distance relative to each other.
