The PD-HW15-SP 1-Circuit 15A Hardwired Surge Box from Middle Atlantic is designed for power distribution with instantaneous surge elimination. It employs the Series Protection technology that includes a 9� (2.7m) 14/3 SignalSAFE power cord and enables it to respond more quickly to a surge event. This stand-alone unit has a rated capacity of 15A and operates on 120VAC at 60Hz current. It has both over and under voltage cut-off and automatically restores power once an event has passed. While the over voltage cut-off threshold does not exceed 135VAC, the under voltage cut-off threshold is not lower than 100VAC. Moreover, it also provides instantaneous protection for AV systems from damaging surges.
